This is the graduate-level counterpart to the Software Intern role, working on the same Catalyst software stack that orchestrates Reconfigurable Automation Cells.The work: writing Python-based protocols that control liquid handlers, plate readers and robotic arms; contributing to Catalyst Agent, the LLM interface for launching experiments in natural language; building the data pipelines that structure experimental output for AI training; and writing drivers for new lab instruments.Pay: the posted base salary range is $45,100 to $63,600 on an annualised basis, with medical, dental and vision, health spending accounts, eight paid holidays plus a full-week winter shutdown, and an unlimited paid time off policy.Who it is for: a recent graduate with a BS or MS, or a current student, in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or a related STEM field, with strong Python proficiency. Experience with hardware control or APIs is a plus. All Ginkgo internships are on site five days a week.
