Job summary

Glocomms is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build automation that powers large-scale compute infrastructure in Dallas. You will develop backend services and internal tools to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management of fleets of compute nodes.

In this role you will implement robust CI/CD pipelines, improve observability, and collaborate with infrastructure teams to tackle complex reliability challenges at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building backend services, platform tooling, or infrastructure automation solutions.

Software Engineer - Fleet Automation

Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Total Compensation: $250K-$300K

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop automation platforms that provision, configure, and manage large-scale compute infrastructure.
• Build backend services, APIs, and internal tools that eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Create reliable, scalable systems using modern software engineering practices.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure and automation workflows.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building backend services, platform tooling, or infrastructure automation solutions.
• Strong experience with Go, C#, and/or TypeScript.
• Experience working with Linux environments and troubleshooting production systems.
• Background designing applications that leverage relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and operational excellence in production environments.
• Someone who enjoys solving infrastructure-scale problems through automation and software.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GPU compute environments.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA tooling.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, or distributed systems.
