Software Factory Communications Lead (Remote)

GovCIO is hiring an SWF Communications Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Candidates must have VA experience. This position is fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiative timelines and deliverables to ensure operational alignment and strategic execution, improving product development and Veteran service delivery.
• Create and implement standardized frameworks, toolkits, and process documentation to streamline operations and support scalable decommissioning processes, accelerating portfolio rationalization.
• Manage digital platform strategy and analytics, focusing on high-demand information to improve operational efficiency and Veteran digital experiences.
• Define and implement decommissioning workflows for Strike Teams and implementation groups, reducing technical debt and optimizing IT infrastructure for modernized solutions.
• Monitor and analyze product portfolio metrics, ensuring alignment with executive priorities and continuous operational improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 12 years of experience; 10 years may substitute for education.
• Experience with Jira, Slack, Mural, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clearance Requirement

• Ability to obtain and maintain Suitability / Public Trust clearance.
