HDR in Austin, Texas seeks a Software Engineering Team Lead to manage software projects across mobile and web platforms, guiding a capable team in design, development, and deployment aligned with corporate goals.

You will ensure clear specifications, drive project management, and mentor engineers while advancing cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7+ years of technical experience in software development, including 1 year of project leadership.
• Proven experience leading software product development projects.
• Excellent knowledge of software development design procedures.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making, and communication skills.
• Familiar with incident tracking, documentation, and testing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage software development projects, lead team to create new products, and maintain applications.
• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment across mobile or web platforms.
• Drive customer-facing experiences by leading a team to deliver multi-platform solutions.
• Define and maintain clear specifications from requirements and use cases.
• Act as Project Manager for corporate software initiatives.
• Oversee product roadmaps, budgets, and resource planning.
