We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of continuous integration and build infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient development pipelines that empower engineers to ship high-quality software quickly. You will oversee backend systems, automated testing, and deployment workflows while fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. Accountabilities
  • Define and execute the vision and strategy for continuous integration and developer productivity infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a team of CI engineers, promoting ownership, collaboration, and technical growth.
  • Manage the design, scalability, and reliability of build systems and pipelines across multiple services and platforms.
  • Optimize build times, test coverage, and reporting to ensure fast and reliable feedback cycles for developers.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes for CI/CD systems to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate systems and streamline deployment workflows.
  • Identify developer pain points and lead initiatives to enhance productivity through automation and tooling improvements.
  • Evangelize CI/CD best practices across the organization to maintain high engineering standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams in CI/CD, build systems, or developer productivity domains.
  • Strong expertise with modern build and test automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Buildkite, Bazel).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Solid programming background in Python, Kotlin, Java, or similar languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, balancing long-term vision with immediate impact.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
