This leader will combine strong technical expertise with business acumen, contributing to architectural discussions, evaluating emerging technologies, and driving modern engineering practices that support organizational goals. The ideal candidate removes barriers for the team, provides mentorship, and fosters a collaborative environment that enables consistent, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, supporting both technical excellence and career growth.
  • Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from planning and design through deployment and ongoing support.
  • Partner closely with IT, product, and business stakeholders to align development efforts with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the architecture, development, and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise applications.
  • Define and monitor operational metrics to ensure system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote engineering best practices, including code quality, testing standards, and DevOps processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and provide clear status updates.
  • Manage escalations proactively, driving timely resolution and maintaining a strong customer experience.
  • Identify and introduce modern tools and technologies to enhance development efficiency and business capabilities.
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight years of professional software development experience within enterprise environments.
  • At least three years of experience leading and managing software engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver large-scale, enterprise applications in dynamic, fast-moving organizations.
  • Strong technical background with Microsoft-based technologies, including C#/.NET, MS SQL, SSRS, and Azure DevOps/TFS.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions; exposure to ERP platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Proven knowledge and application of Agile delivery frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage complex initiatives.
  • Skilled at balancing technical decision-making with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • A collaborative leader and creative problem-solver with a decisive, results-oriented approach.

IFS ERP experience is highly preferred; however, candidates without direct IFS experience will be considered due to the onsite and relocation requirements of the role.

  • Primarily office-based role with extended periods of computer use.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
