A Little About This Gig

As the IT Service Delivery Manager, you will serve as the accountable delivery and platform leader for a critical colleague servicing application within a leading financial services organization. You'll drive modernization from monolithic applications toward scalable microservices and cloud-native solutions while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence. This role will oversee end-to-end delivery, complex technology dependencies, production support, and the continued evolution of the platform.

• Define and execute technology modernization, cloud migration, and platform roadmaps aligned with business and enterprise strategy
• Lead end-to-end technology delivery, dependency management, release processes, and production readiness activities
• Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, SRE, risk, compliance, and business teams to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant services
• Build and lead high-performing engineering teams while driving operational excellence, resiliency, automation, and continuous improvement
• Oversee production support operations and incident management for mission-critical enterprise applications
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate technical strategy, progress, and risks to executive leadership and business partners

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of technical experience, including 3+ years leading software engineering teams supporting mission-critical services
• Hands-on experience with React, Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven experience leading technology modernization initiatives, including transitioning monolithic applications to modular, scalable microservices
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, enterprise integrations, APIs, and complex technology dependencies
• Experience with SRE/DevOps practices, observability tools, resiliency patterns, disaster recovery planning, and production support methodologies
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, risk management frameworks, compliance requirements, and regulatory readiness within technology environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business partners across all organizational levels
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating deliverables across multiple technology disciplines
