Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineering Lead to guide a team of engineers in delivering scalable, robust solutions that are integral to our systems. As a hands‑on leader, you will drive innovation, collaboration, and excellence in engineering while directly contributing to the technical success of projects. This role bridges technical expertise with leadership, ensuring the delivery of best‑in‑class solutions that align with business objectives.

Essential Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performance work culture.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and support the ongoing growth and development of team members.
  • Establish clear goals, track performance, and coach engineers to support both individual and team success.
Technical Architecture and Delivery
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions.
  • Drive the execution of software projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Leverage APIs, cloud technologies, and modern development practices to build solutions integrated with enterprise systems.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Partner with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and align on technical direction.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to support streamlined CI/CD pipelines and robust application monitoring.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to non‑technical audiences.
Governance and Best Practices
  • Maintain coding standards, system design principles, and adherence to enterprise security and compliance policies.
  • Document system designs, processes, and technical configurations to support knowledge sharing and future scalability.
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices into solution design.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve development processes, system performance, and reliability.
  • Champion innovation and the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python, with a strong foundation in object‑oriented programming principles.
  • Experience designing and building APIs and RESTful services, with hands‑on knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS) and data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.
  • Experience working with middleware technologies and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience supporting large‑scale data sets and high‑transaction systems.
Leadership and Professional Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and lead engineering teams.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering practical, high‑quality solutions.
