Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams, shaping architecture and driving cross‑cutting initiatives in a remote U.S. environment.

You will mentor senior engineers, raise the engineering bar through design and code reviews, collaborate with product, design, and operations, and translate ambiguous requirements into well‑engineered solutions that ships meaningful results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience.

Salary Range:$205,000–$230,000 Annually

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams and drive the design and execution of complex, cross-cutting engineering initiatives. As a Staff engineer you will be a key technical voice in shaping architecture, raising the engineering bar, and helping the organization deliver ambitious technical roadmaps. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical depth with strong organizational judgment, and will be comfortable operating at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and hands‑on execution. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.

• Familiarity with FinOps and cost‑aware engineering practices.
