Job summary

C.H. Robinson Worldwide is seeking a software engineer intern to join our global logistics technology team. From day one you will work on hands-on projects, learning to build and enhance proprietary systems that impact thousands of users worldwide.

You will be paired with an experienced engineer for feedback and growth, applying your ingenuity to real business value while exploring multiple technologies and platforms within a structured internship program.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related area.
• Solid understanding of software and application design, and development and project management principles.
• Willingness to learn from experienced engineers and embrace feedback.

Responsibilities

• Work with teams to build and support technology solutions for our platform used by thousands of users.
• Develop full stack applications using RESTful services and responsive UIs with CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage multiple technologies including frontend HTML/CSS/JS and backend C#.NET Web.API.

From day one of your 2027 summer internship you will have hands‑on, meaningful responsibilities that will challenge you and require out‑of‑the‑box thinking. Using your ingenuity and creativity, you will work with your team to build and enhance custom, proprietary systems impacting thousands of users around the world. Are you ready for the challenge? In this role, you will engage with peers on‑site four days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work one day a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

Opportunity

Work with teams that build and support the technology solutions driving our business. Develop solutions for a platform built to handle sudden shifts in the logistics market and a diverse range of customer needs. Learn from an experienced engineer who will train you on our systems, explain our business, and introduce you to leaders throughout the organization. Leverage multiple technologies to build full stack applications that include RESTful web services and responsive UIs using Continuous Integration and a Continuous Deployment pipeline. Our technologies include, but aren’t limited to the following: Frontend interfaces in HTML/CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and React/Redux; Backend services in C#.NET Web.API; SQL Server databases; and Jenkins and Github for CI/CD.

Required Qualifications

Solid understanding of software and application design, and development and project management principles. Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related area.

Compensation

Compensation Range $15 - $30 per hour. The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
