Job summary

Disney Experiences in Orlando is seeking a Software Engineering Intern who is curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. This entry-level position is a six-month full-time commitment from January 2027 through June 2027, based at the Orlando Disney Central location, focusing on web applications for our contact centers.

You will work with C#, Java, JavaScript, and databases (Postgres, Informix, MS SQL), participate in vendor integrations, and use Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jenkins, and GitHub

Qualifications

• Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, JavaScript).
• Be willing to learn new programming languages with the team's guidance.
• Proven experience working with SQL platforms such as Informix, Postgres, or Microsoft SQL.
• Experience utilizing Version Control and CI/CD platforms such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain custom web and service-based applications using OO languages (C#, Java, JavaScript) that integrate with SaaS/Telephony solutions.
• Administer, build, and maintain databases and server infrastructure for custom/vendor apps.
• Maintain well-documented code and version control using Git/GitHub/GitLab for collaboration.
• Write Continuous Delivery workflows using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for deployment.
• Write Bash/Batch scripts for scheduled tasks and reporting jobs.
• Brainstorm ideas from inception to delivery for new projects and demonstrate benefits to stakeholders.
