Job summary

Disney Experiences in Orlando is offering a full-time, six-month Software Engineering Intern role designed for growth in a dynamic environment. The position focuses on building web-based applications, databases, and integration with SaaS and telephony solutions.

You’ll work with C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and modern CI/CD tooling to deliver enterprise-grade workloads. You will also gain exposure to security, deployment pipelines, and cross-team collaboration using Jira and related platforms,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript).
• Willingness to learn new programming languages with team guidance.
• Proven experience with SQL platforms such as Informix, Postgres, or Microsoft SQL.
• Experience using version control and CI/CD platforms (Git, GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain web and service-based applications using C#, Java, and JavaScript that integrate with SaaS and telephony solutions.
• Administer, build, and maintain databases and server infrastructure for custom/vendor applications.
• Maintain well-documented code and version control with Git/GitHub/GitLab for collaboration.
• Create Continuous Delivery workflows with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for deployment.
• Write Bash and Batch scripts for scheduled tasks and reporting.
• Brainstorm ideas from inception to delivery and justify benefits to stakeholders.
• Use Jira, Zendesk, and ServiceNow to track progress and communicate timelines.
