Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, invites applications for a 2027 Software Engineering Internship at our Columbia, MD location. The role is on-site five days a week and targets rising college juniors pursuing a bachelor's in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

You will work on Minotaur, a mission management system used across surveillance platforms, gaining hands-on experience across the software lifecycle and collaborating with engineers

Qualifications

• Experience with software development in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine new features for operational software.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle – design, implementation, integration, and testing.
