Job summary

Obble is seeking a software engineering intern to contribute to real features, not just observe. You will work closely with an experienced engineer, submit pull requests, and have your code reviewed to understand the decisions behind changes.

During a minimum three-month period, you will gain hands-on experience with production‑oriented development, testing, and navigating an existing codebase, while learning how to build features that reach users early and reliably.

• Spend time reading and navigating an existing codebase before and alongside writing new code.
• Build a practical understanding of how the product is structured and how changes affect the wider system.
• Ask questions early when requirements, implementation details, or unfamiliar code are unclear.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of TypeScript or Python.
• At least one project, application, or other example of software you have built that can be reviewed.
• Availability for a minimum of three months.
• Ability to work mostly full‑time during the internship period.
• Willingness to learn through code review, documentation, investigation, and regular feedback.
• A proactive communication style, including raising questions instead of remaining blocked without support.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, or projects involving language models.
• Open‑source contributions, meaningful side projects, or participation in a hackathon you found engaging.
