State Street is seeking an experienced eFX developer to write high-performance Java and Rust code as part of a global team. You will work on multi-platform trading solutions that operate across multiple data centres and markets, delivering frequent releases under tight deadlines.

The role emphasizes strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, a deep understanding of FX Spot, Forward, Swap, and eNDF, and a track record of performance-oriented development in a banking

Qualifications

• 10+ years minimum experience in automated trading, at a bank or hedge fund.
• 15+ years finance development experience.
• Proven track record in performance computing.
• Bachelor of Science degree or similar.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic full-stack developer to write high performance Java and Rust code as part of the EFX Boston team EFX is a multi-platform team that writes bespoke trading solutions that trades FX globally all week on a follow the Sun basis. Our systems are large mesh-based service-oriented platforms that span multiple Data Centres. These systems handle a significant amount of flow daily and, because of our business expansion, we are scaling up our systems to meet demand. This creates an exciting opportunity for a developer willing to join a large team and work on a wide range of tasks. The role is challenging; is business facing and requires the ability to solve problems quickly. Good communication skills are a must as well as the ability to communicate effectively to non-technical groups. Any candidate applying for this position must possess all these skills, as well as demonstratable in-depth knowledge of FX Spot, Forward, Swap, Benchmarks and eNDF trading.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $202,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
