Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering/Computer Science COOP student to learn and assist with software tasks across multiple groups, including design, test, documentation, and integration of software packages. This role supports senior engineers and may involve installation and integration work.

Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, junior year or higher.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiar with C++ and/or C# programming languages.
• Familiarity with SQL/Access database is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps and Flow is a plus.
• Willing to learn new procedures and applications.
• Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Customer service-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• U.S. citizen required due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to senior engineers in design, test, documentation, and implementation.
• Assist with installation and integration of software packages.
• Support multiple software groups (Software, Computer Tools, Computer Systems, and Integration Specialist) as needed.
