Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and support applications, emphasizing analysis of business requirements and technical design documentation.
2. Provide expert leadership on complex software engineering projects and advise functional leaders.
3. Consult with business and IT management on application programming and processes across diverse platforms and environments.
4. Collaborate to identify application development solutions, reuse existing code, and integrate purchased solutions.
5. Provide thought leadership within application development for broader projects.
6. Design principal systems and subsystems for complex projects.
7. Research and evaluate solutions, recommending the most efficient and cost-effective options.
8. Code new or modified programs, reuse existing code, and integrate solutions.
9. Document, test, implement, and support applications continuously.
10. Support production activities, troubleshooting, and debugging.

The salary for this position is $161,886.00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computers or engineering.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience developing, testing, and implementing software programs.
• Experience with root cause analysis, testing activities, defect management, and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with tools like Quality Center, UFT, and Selenium.
• Experience with healthcare applications, especially claim processing engines.

For remote work, internet must be via cable broadband or fiber optic with at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speeds.

The annual salary range is $109,200 - $182,000 USD, depending on experience and location, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus.
