Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer in Sterling, VA who will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full‑stack applications across frontend, middle tier, and backend. The ideal candidate will build intuitive UIs, create robust APIs, and optimize performance while following modern tooling and CI/CD practices.

Applicants should be proficient in multiple languages and frameworks, have a solid understanding of the SDLC, and be prepared to work Day 1 with TS/SCI clearance

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph required on Day 1.
• Experience building scalable, user-focused web applications across frontend and backend environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable full-stack applications and features across frontend, middle tier, and backend.
• Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Create and maintain documentation for code, features, and processes.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in multiple languages and frameworks, demonstrating a solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle. The candidate should have experience building scalable, user-focused web applications across frontend and backend environments and skilled in designing intuitive interfaces, developing robust APIs, and optimizing system performance. TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Day 1.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
