Job summary

BOAB Ventures is seeking a Software Engineer to advance high-level quality control for hardware systems and applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and mission-critical standards.

The role requires 5+ years in software and systems engineering, with hands-on experience in automated testing frameworks and security constraints. You will support end-to-end development, deployment, and documentation across multiple lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w FSP Clearance (required for Sponsor mission)
• 5+ years of experience in software and systems engineering within a large-scale computer-based organization.
• Technical Proficiency in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and quality control methodologies.
• Proven ability to support hardware and software through design, deployment, and decommission phases.
• Experience ensuring system compliance with enterprise-level technical architectures and security constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans to identify complex software problems and their root causes across the development lifecycle.
• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and procedures.
• Provide end-to-end support for the analysis, design, development, and deployment of hardware systems and applications.
• Conduct formal and informal reviews at pre-determined milestones to evaluate hardware, software, and associated technical documentation.
• Apply project management models (Agile, Spiral, Waterfall) to ensure systems comply with enterprise technical architecture and business unit requirements.
• Maintain technical awareness of IT trends and ongoing projects to provide cost analysis and strategic lifecycle support.
