Job summary

CodiLime is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Rust to join our project team. You will architect, build, and maintain a suite of tools that empower organizations to deploy Physical Agents on their assets across factories, equipment, streets, or fleets.

The role requires strong Rust, Python, distributed systems, and cloud skills. We operate in a flexible environment with remote, hybrid, or in-office options and offer ongoing professional growth, hands-on onboarding, and a collaborative

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Excellent knowledge of Rust.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools in your engineering workflow.
• Experience in designing and developing distributed applications, including RESTful APIs and inter-service communication.
• Understanding of software security principles, including authentication, authorization, secure communication, and API security.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of containerization including Docker, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Knowledge of public clouds.
• Working knowledge of Linux systems.
• Good command of English (B2 level or higher).

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with Rust to join our project team. The project involves development of a new suite of tools that empowers organizations to build and deploy Physical Agents on their physical assets, whether it's a factory, a piece of manufacturing equipment, a street intersection, or a fleet of vehicles.

As a Senior Software Engineer you must meet the following criteria:

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
• Excellent knowledge of Rust
• Knowledge of Python
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools in your engineering workflow, with a clear understanding of where they add value and where they fall short
• Experience in designing and developing distributed applications, including RESTful APIs and inter-service communication
• Understanding of software security principles, including authentication, authorization, secure communication, and API security
• Understanding of virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of containerization including Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
• Knowledge of public clouds
• Working knowledge of Linux systems
• Good command of English (B2 level or higher)

Nice-to-Have Tools & Technologies

• Experience with AI system engineering, including building LLM-based applications and agentic AI solutions
• Knowledge of Bash
• Knowledge of core networking concepts and protocols (ethernet, TCP/IP, VLAN, firewalls, routing etc)
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, processing, and integration
