Job summary

LinkedIn is seeking a frontend engineer to own the front-end for one or more of our products, collaborating with designers, engineers, and product managers to launch new features and deliver a world-class user experience.

You will work with modern web technologies to keep LinkedIn at the forefront, ensuring security, performance, and accessibility across the platform for hundreds of millions of users.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
• Experience programming in languages such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, Java, etc.

The LinkedIn Web Infrastructure team is responsible for building and maintaining the company’s core web technology stack, including frameworks, tools, libraries, and services. These technologies power the day-to-day development workflows of all web engineers at LinkedIn and form the foundation of the company’s web ecosystem.

• 2+ years of relevant work experience .
• MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline .

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
