Software Engineer - Video Engineering Tools and Prototyping

Description

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and maintain key parts of our internal software solutions. Responsibilities include integrating new technologies, developing sustainable and modular frameworks, and contributing to testing and reliability infrastructure. The role requires a quick learner capable of managing projects from conception to execution, addressing technical challenges and fostering team knowledge sharing.

Minimum Qualifications

1. BS degree with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
2. 3 years programming in Swift/Objective-C for iOS or macOS applications; knowledge of digital video fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with C/C++
2. Skills in software debugging, unit testing, and optimization
3. Experience with Apple’s video frameworks (AVFoundation, CoreMedia)
4. Experience with Metal (highly desired)
5. Experience in SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency (a plus)

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $143,100 to $264,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additional benefits include stock programs, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, employee discounts, educational reimbursement, bonuses, and relocation support.
