Successful completion of this program could result in final placement in just 14‑months.

This internship is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting‑edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.

What You Will Learn

• Work within agile development teams to build and enhance software applications.
• Develop and test clean, scalable, and reliable code in technologies such as Java, Python, React, or .NET.
• Gain experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins).
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with UX, product, and data teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
• Learn software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.

Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Exposure to software engineering projects through coursework or previous internships
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Passion for technology, innovation, and learning in a collaborative environment
• Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
