Job summary

Legato, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer in Laurel, MD to join the Software Management Team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, review code, test results, and support system design decisions to optimize performance and security.

The role requires TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance, a bachelor’s degree or eight years of related experience, and strong scripting skills including JavaScript/HTML/CSS. Legato offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; four years of equivalent experience may substitute for the degree (total of eight years).
• Experience coding in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JSON).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements; document results.
• Provide input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and use of COTS/GOTS.
