Base-2 Solutions is seeking a software engineer to join a defense-focused team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This on-site role requires handling complex analytics, large data sets, and real-time systems, with opportunities to influence architecture and tool choices.

The candidate should be proficient across Java, C++, Python, and modern frameworks, and comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment while supporting mission-critical objectives with Top Secret/SCI clearance and Full Scope

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports and provides input on system design and trade-offs.
• Experience with languages such as Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Ruby and Go.
