Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 Enhanced Domain Awareness. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing data integration pipelines, API services, and front-end interfaces for accessing geospatial and structured data.

The candidate should be proficient with Data Lakes platforms like Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS environments, and cloud-based data engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in full-stack development and data engineering.
Experience delivering full-stack apps for data visualization within ESRI GIS, Unity Catalog, and cloud databases.
Proficient in RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, and API authentication.
Experience optimizing queries for large geospatial datasets.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize data integration pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization.
Work with Data Lakes platforms including Databricks and Kubernetes and ESRI ArcGIS environments.
Build scalable, secure web apps with metadata-driven search and retrieval.
Integrate APIs for seamless data interoperability.
Deliver full-stack apps enabling data visualization, dashboards, and analytics within ESRI GIS platforms and cloud DBs.
Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments in Kubernetes, and API authentication.
Optimize database queries and indexing for large geospatial and structured datasets.
