Base-2 Solutions is seeking a top-tier software engineer to join our team. We develop next-generation technologies for national defense, tackling challenges in analytics, large-scale systems, security, AI, and UI design.

The role values leadership, versatility, and a passion for solving complex problems. Ideal candidates bring experience with Java, C++, Python, and modern development tools, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in CS or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and use of COTS/GOTS.
