Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, tackling processing-intensive analytics and large data sets. The role involves individual or team work, code reviews, and documenting test results.

An active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required. The position is onsite, with compensation aligned to qualifications and market standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus two years of software engineering experience.
Four additional years of software engineering experience on projects with similar processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results.
Resolves software problem reports and provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features and improve documentation and processes.
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or repositories.
