A leading technology firm in Fort Meade, Maryland is seeking experienced software engineers to analyze user requirements, design and develop software solutions. Candidates must be US citizens with an active TS/SCI clearance and will ideally have a Bachelor's in Computer Science. The role offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $285,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and investment in professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
• Four years of SWE experience on similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases.
