Job summary

Visionist Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer with active TS/SCI clearance to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications on our largest PRIME contract. You will build ETL workflows, apply AI/ML methods, and ensure scalable data ingestion for rapid operational insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree.
• 12 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Experience using AI/ML tools to accelerate data analysis and engineering solution development.
• Experience with Kafka and streaming analytics.
• Working knowledge of relational databases.
• Exposure to adjacent domains such as dataflow, data science, or mission analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications across frontend and backend environments.
• Develop ETL workflows to reconcile requested versus realized infrastructure.
• Apply AI tools and techniques to accelerate analysis and rapidly prototype new solutions.
• Ensure scalable and reliable data ingestion and processing.
• Collaborate with full-stack engineers to integrate and visualize results.
