Trust and Safety (T&S) works to promote user trust and safety at scale, defending platforms through AI-enabled systems and cross-functional partnerships. This mid-level role is based in Kirkland, WA, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
• 3 years of experience architecting distributed systems, infrastructure, or agentic systems.
• Experience building and deploying agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, test, and deploy new features and components that leverage AI to automate and enhance trust and safety operations, enabling teams to scale their user protection impact efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
• Work across the stack from building AI models to performing experiments, improving quality, building infrastructure and tools, etc.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve ambiguous, testing, and impactful problems at the intersection of technology, automation, user protection, and AI.
• Participate in code reviews, receive and give constructive feedback to peers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.

$174,000 - $252,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
