Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a qualified professional to support system development lifecycle upgrades, server monitoring, and patching on-site in Stafford, VA. The role requires RHEL experience, and a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI counterintelligence polygraph.

Preferred candidates will have Angular, Bash, and Python skills, plus familiarity with Jira, Git, and Subversion. IAT Level I or higher (Security+) is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 6 years’ experience.
• On-site work at Stafford, VA.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Top Secret clearance to start; ability to obtain SCI counterintelligence polygraph.
• IAT Level I or higher (Security+).

Responsibilities

• System development lifecycle upgrades server monitoring and patching
• Assist with all or part of the following: system application design, code development, testing, code maintenance.
• Assist with Linux server Administration and maintenance

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or a High School diploma / equivalent with 6 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Work on-site at Stafford Virginia
• Experience with RHEL Operating systems
• Top Secret clearance needed to start with the ability to obtain SCI Counter intelligence polygraph
• Prior to start obtain a (IAT) level I or higher (Security +)

Preferred Qualifications

• Web (Brower based) GUI front end development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Angular)
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) or others
• Experience with hardening Linux OS and applications to required configurations (e.g. DISA STIGs)
• Configuration Management experience working with software version control tools (Jira’s Bamboo, Stash, GIT, Subversion)
• Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Linux system administration experience

Primary Level Salary Range

$91,800.00 - $137,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
