Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, seeks a Software Engineer in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to join an agile team developing a reusable environment for automated testing and hardware-in-the-loop simulations.

You will build modular software interfacing with test equipment, collaborate with electrical engineers, and work on Linux/Windows applications. Hybrid schedule; PR residency required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5 years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Clear professional English communication across all levels of the organization.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to RTX program information.

Responsibilities

• Join an agile/scrum team to build a reusable environment for automated testing and HIL simulations.
• Develop modular software interfacing test equipment and integrate into a cohesive system.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on wiring, hardware configuration, and test stands.
• Develop tools for AT/E equipment using C++, Python, TCL and real-time software.
• Provide on-site and remote support to internal development labs.
• Lead development efforts for large software projects from design to testing and budgeting.
