Job summary

SSATI is seeking a Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph to support compliance solutions, analytics, and hosting platforms for agency missions. The role involves developing and sustaining diverse software systems and collaborating within a team.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of software engineering experience, a CS-related degree or equivalent, and Kubernetes/Kotlin expertise. Location allows up to 50% telework with on-site work at National Business Parkway.

Qualifications

• Current Top-Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or four additional years of software engineering experience.
• At least seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer (11+ years if no Bachelor's).
• Kubernetes deployment and maintenance experience.
• Experience with Kotlin development.
• Bonus points: Kubernetes networking experience.
• GitOps experience with Kubernetes deployments.

Job description

Software Engineer, Clearance Required – TS/SCI w/Polygraph Please note, this position requires all candidates to currently possess an active Top-Secret SCI Clearance with a Polygraph. This position is not an opportunity to be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance. The Work: This contract supports compliance solutions and integration, as well as development and sustainment of analytic services and hosting platforms to sustain analytics, threads, and services to enable the agency and tactical customers' missions and goals throughout the extended enterprise.

Minimum Qualifications

• A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or four additional years of software engineering experience.
• At least seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer (at least 11 years experience if no Bachelor's degree).
• Kubernetes deployment and maintenance.
• Experience with Kotlin development.
• Bonus Points: Kubernetes networking experience.
• GitOps experience with kubernetes deployments.

As a Software Engineer, You Will

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems
• Work individually and part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolve software problem reports.
• Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Work Site: Telework approved for up to 50% (20 hours) a week as tasking permits. Work Site: located on National Business Parkway.
