Job summary
Apple Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the System Analytics & Intelligence (SAIL) team in the San Francisco Bay Area.
You will own the backend and data infrastructure behind SAIL’s analytics products, designing large-scale data pipelines and services that transform raw signals into actionable insights for Core OS. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions, focusing on correctness, reliability, and maintainability as the organization
Qualifications
- 3+ years building production software systems, with backend services and APIs, and strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong fundamentals in system design and architecture.
- Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines with SQL and modern data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate large-scale data pipelines and transformations powering Core OS analytics.
- Build backend services and APIs to make data insights accessible across the organization.
- Own architecture, reliability, and performance of the systems you build and ensure they scale with the company needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate analytics needs into robust technical solutions.
