Apple Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for Data Analytics within the AiDP Data Services team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will build data analytics and search capabilities across OpenSearch, ClickHouse, Doris and related platforms, supporting hybrid-cloud migrations and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data analytics/search, strong Java or Python skills, and experience with automation tooling and cloud/infrastructure. Join a team powering Apple's massive services at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in data analytics and/or data search space.
• Experience and knowledge of Java or Python programming languages.
• Hands-on production experience with at least one of: Solar, Elastic Search, Iceberg, ClickHouse, Doris and/or Couchbase.
• Exposure to running infrastructure with automation tooling across Datacenter and Cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and run data analytics and search capabilities with monitoring and incidents.
• Develop data processing platforms and tooling for large-scale services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams across hybrid-cloud environments.
• Document Runbooks, diagrams, and migration playbooks.
• Support data migration tasks and regulatory compliance.
