Job summary

Glasslake is seeking a backend-focused engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for its enterprise AI platform. You will work with product, AI, and SAP specialists to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.

You should have a strong computer science foundation and production experience with backend APIs, microservices, OO design, and cloud-based distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Strong computer science foundation and production software development experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; knowledge of SAP/AI/ML is a plus.

Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for Glasslake’s enterprise AI platform, implementing features and improving performance, reliability, testing, and observability. Collaborate with product, AI, and SAP specialists on architecture and code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and turn complex enterprise requirements into robust technical solutions.

Requirements: Candidates need a strong computer science foundation and production software development experience, including backend APIs, microservices, object-oriented design, and cloud-based distributed systems. They should be comfortable with CI/CD, automated testing, Git, architectural collaboration, and cross-functional communication; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required, while enterprise systems, SAP, or AI/ML experience is a plus.
