Oasys, Inc. is seeking a full-time Software Engineer Staff, Level 4 to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. The role includes supporting the software engineering lifecycle and requires experience in programming languages such as C or C++. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and able to obtain Secret level government security clearance prior to starting.

This position is onsite in Huntsville and involves multi-disciplined collaboration, agile software processes, and real-time systems. Benefits include health & dental, ESOP, matching 401-K, and more.

Software Engineer Staff, Level 4

OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor, is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer Staff, Level 4 to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.

Summary

In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
• Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi‑disciplined teams
• Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test

Desired Skills

• Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (GreenHill or VxWorks)
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements

Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.

Location & Remote Work

Onsite full‑time at Huntsville, AL. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite and requires special facility access.

Schedule

9x80 working hours with every other Friday off.
