Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the Skunk Works Mission Systems and Software team. You will apply standards and best practices to develop, integrate, and test software for Advanced Development Programs, spanning requirements through flight test.

The role covers the full development lifecycle for C4ISR, including integration with host systems and simulations. A US citizenship and interim Secret clearance to start are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Above Degree in Engineering/Math/Technical Discipline.
• Experience in Object Oriented programming in C#, C++ and/or Java Languages.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires an Interim Secret clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions for C4ISR across the full lifecycle from requirements to flight test.
• Integrate software with live assets, simulations, and laboratory environments.
• Coordinate change requests as software evolves and is tested.

This position is for an experienced Software Engineer to use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in the software field to develop solutions to complex problems within Advanced Development Programs (ADP). This position is on the C4ISR team within Ground Systems Applications organization under Ground Systems. This position requires a software engineer to use a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the software field to develop, integrate, and test software products for Advanced Development Programs.

Who You Are

You will be responsible for all phases of developing software solutions for C4ISR. Responsibilities will span the development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design and implementation, integration and flight test, and adjudicating change requests as the software is updated, tested, and integrated. Integration activities will include a multitude of host systems, such as live assets of varying capability and structure, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations.

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00
