Infinite Campus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud to design, build, and operate cloud-native applications using AWS technologies. You will lead projects, mentor engineers, and drive infrastructure automation while upholding security, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring deep cloud-native development experience in public clouds, with strong AWS expertise (IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager, Lambda) and EKS, plus IaC proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation and scripting

What you’ll do

The Senior Software Engineer - Cloud at Infinite Campus will be responsible for designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications using AWS technologies. They will focus on solutions architecture, infrastructure automation, cloud-native best practices and technical consulting to support development teams. You will lead projects independently, mentor other engineers and facilitate agile planning while ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Who you are

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in cloud-native development, with experience building and supporting platforms in public cloud environments. You will be able to provide industry-grounded expertise in AWS servicessuch as network, account management and EKS.

Your skill-set

You will have significant hands-on experience with AWS services, including IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager, and Lambda, with EKS experience. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is essential, along with scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, Groovy, or PowerShell.

You are capable of multi-tasking across development activities, troubleshooting cloud ecosystem issues, writing unit tests, and managing operational aspects of internal cloud systems. Additionally, you will demonstrate strong collaboration skills with the ability to anticipate technical challenges and a commitment to maintaining high standards in software development, security and documentation.
