Lockheed Martin Space in Huntsville, AL is seeking a full-time Software Engineer Staff. You will work with experienced engineers and support the software lifecycle per the SDP, including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, integration, and delivery. Proficiency in C, C++, or Ada is expected.

You must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a government security clearance; the facility requires special access.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development across a program life cycle.
• Experience in C and C++ programming.
• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests in various environments.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience working on teams using Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop new functionality and fix bugs.
• Plan and assign new functionality to meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot with the team and coordinate with other groups.
• Develop and populate status metrics to track progress.
• Coordinate with Ground Systems, customer, and THAAD groups for implementation.
• Adhere to the integrated master schedule.
• Assist in estimating schedules, resources, and staffing.
