As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. In this role, you will be the technical lead for the Chief of Staff team, designing and implementing systems to manage our EDA licensing and other cost areas. You will be the technical expert for all areas of automation that the Chief of Staff team drives. You will own the technology stack and architecture of our EDA licensing infrastructure, with a focus on the accuracy of license usage, financial reports, and contractual agreements, as well as designing and building out the technology stack, encompassing front-end interfaces, back-end systems, data infrastructure, pipelines, applications, and supporting scripts. This role requires a software engineering background coupled with an understanding of hardware design, chip development processes and associated costs, and a grasp of EDA tooling/licensing concepts.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
