Job summary

Nemean Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to independently design and engineer new software products or major enhancements for the US Army Command and Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related
• Eight years of software design, engineering, installation, integration, evaluation, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis
• Expert in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio 2019+, C#, .Net, SQL, and JavaScript
• IAM Level II certification or equivalent (Security X/CASP, CISSP, or CISM) within 90 days
• DevSecOps practices: Agile, Scrum, MSFT Power Platform, etc.
• Must be able to work independently on complex software products

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer software products or major enhancements
• May lead a team for complex software systems
• Address system integrations, compatibility, and multi-platform concerns
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs
• Conduct code reviews of subordinate developers and peers
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity to implement RMF and SDLC processes

Job Overview

The Software Engineer will Independently design and engineer new software products or major enhancement to existing software in support of the US Army Command and Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division Support.

Support Hours

Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work independently designing and engineering software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• May lead a team in the design of highly complex software systems.
• Acts as the highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integrations, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Works independently designing and engineering new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.
• Conduct code review of subordinate developers and peers.
• Coordinates with Cybersecurity team members to implement and maintain a SSDLC with an understanding of NIST SP 800-63 RMF and the DoD implementation of RMF.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• Eight (8) years of experience in software design, engineering, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Candidate should possess expert level knowledge in the use of Azure Dev Ops, Visual Studio 2019 or later and be experienced in various languages including C#, .Net, SQL, jQuery, Java Script, amongst others.
• Required to be certified Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II current with either Security X (formerly CASP), CISSP, or CISM certifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Requires proficiency in software development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) methodologies (i.e., Agile, Scrum, MSFT Power Platform, etc.).
• Must be able to work independently designing and engineering new software products or major enhancement to existing software.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities.

Travel Requirements

Travel will be required within the NCR during the performance of this contract to attend meetings, conferences, and training. If designated a member of the Emergency Response Group, travel will be required to relocate to an alternate site not to exceed 150-mile radius of primary work location if the ERG is activated.
