Job summary

Nemean Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to independently design and engineer new software products or major enhancements to existing software in support of the US Army Command and Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division.

Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs, with potential team leadership and coordination with Cybersecurity to maintain RMF compliance and NIST standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8 years of software design/engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps and Visual Studio 2019 or later; fluent in C#, .NET, SQL, jQuery, JavaScript.
• IAM Level II certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies (Agile, Scrum, MS Power Platform).

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer software products or major enhancements independently.
• May lead a team in designing highly complex software systems.
• Act as a top technical expert for systems integrations and multi-platform compatibility.
• Devise procedures to solve complex problems considering resources and time.

Job Overview:

The Software Engineer will Independently design and engineer new software products or major enhancement to existing software in support of the US Army Command and Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division Support.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work independently designing and engineering software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• May lead a team in the design of highly complex software systems.
• Acts as the highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integrations, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Works independently designing and engineering new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.
• Conduct code review of subordinate developers and peers.
• Coordinates with Cybersecurity team members to implement and maintain a SSDLC with an understanding of NIST SP 800-63 RMF and the DoD implementation of RMF.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• Eight (8) years of experience in software design, engineering, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Candidate should possess expert level knowledge in the use of Azure Dev Ops, Visual Studio 2019 or later and be experienced in various languages including C#, .Net, SQL, jQuery, Java Script, amongst others.
• Required to be certified Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II current with either Security X (formerly CASP), CISSP, or CISM certifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Requires proficiency in software development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) methodologies (i.e., Agile, Scrum, MSFT Power Platform, etc.).
• Must be able to work independently designing and engineering new software products or major enhancement to existing software.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities.

• Top Secret Clearence

Travel Requirements:

Travel will be required within the NCR during the performance of this contract to attend meetings, conferences, and training. If designated a member of the Emergency Response Group, travel will be required to relocate to an alternate site not to exceed 150-mile radius of primary work location if the ERG is activated.
