Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Software Developer to work with the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) team. The role supports a 4x10 schedule with Fridays off and is based at the MFC facility, which focuses on nuclear research and development capabilities.

You will develop innovative software across mobile, embedded, desktop, web-based and hosted platforms using languages like Rust, SQL, C/C++, C#, and Python. Proficiency with REST/SOAP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in software development or related field; experience required.
• Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio or VS Code.
• Export control: US citizen or US Green Card holder needed.

Responsibilities

• Coding proficiency in industry standard modeling languages.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment tools.
• Develop and review designs, requirements, operations, and testing processes.
• Optimize and develop software using languages such as Rust, SQL, C/C++, C#, Python.
