Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Ruby on Rails
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices
• Design and optimize database schemas and implement effective design patterns
• Develop and maintain background jobs and system integrations
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
• Follow best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, Agile/SCRUM, refactoring, and coding standards
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve application performance and scalability

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer
• Strong working knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RDBMS, and OOP concepts
• Solid understanding of database design and software design patterns
• Good understanding of object‑oriented analysis and design principles
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Candidates must have U.S. work authorization
