RecruiterForge is seeking an engineer to design, implement, and maintain usage-based billing systems for a growing cloud platform. You will ensure customers are charged accurately as usage grows and product complexity increases.

You will work with Finance, Product, Customer Experience, and Support Engineering to integrate billing platforms, improve data pipelines, and strengthen the infrastructure behind usage-based billing. Opportunities exist across multiple engineering levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building or operating usage-based billing systems.
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party billing systems such as Orb, Metronome, Stripe, or similar platforms.
• Strong expertise in Go and production-grade SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Customer Experience, and Product teams.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and accountability when working on critical systems.
• Practical problem-solving skills that balance accuracy, scalability, and developer experience.
