Opportunity: Software Engineer (Remote - Texas or Colorado)

We are seeking a frontend-focused Software Engineer eager to work on high-impact, scalable systems in a remote-first environment. You will join a team building platform-level services such as Authentication, Authorization, and Messaging that support various product teams. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop secure, efficient, and user-centric systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving technical challenges, contributing to a collaborative team culture, and mentoring fellow engineers.

Accountabilities :
  1. Develop and maintain frontend services for authentication, authorization, and customer provisioning.
  2. Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and data teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
  3. Design and deploy complex features across microservice architectures.
  4. Use user feedback to enhance system performance, usability, and security.
  5. Mentor engineers and share best practices to foster team growth.
  6. Own critical components and technical projects from conception to deployment.
Requirements
  1. 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining high-volume production services.
  2. Proficiency in React and TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, Kotlin, or Go.
  3. Strong understanding of modern cloud environments, preferably AWS and Kubernetes.
  4. Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  5. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for clean code.
  8. Remote work from Austin, TX or Denver, CO.
  9. Competitive salary between $125,000 and $148,000, based on experience and location.
