This role is fully remote and can be performed anywhere in the continental US.

Who You Are

We seek strong software engineers passionate about developing scalable, event-driven microservices and integrating Machine Learning into production. You will design and implement modern cloud-based applications in a collaborative and autonomous environment. Daily Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Machine Learning Engineering to architect and implement our decisioning platform.
• Design, build, and support scalable microservices powering Machine Learning and Data Science applications.
• Partner with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to deploy models into production.
• Implement DevOps/MLOps best practices, CI/CD, and automation.
• Operate within a modern AWS cloud environment using:
• AWS Lambda for serverless compute
• Amazon RDS for databases
• Amazon EKS for container orchestration
• SageMaker Endpoints for real-time ML deployment
• Python FastAPI for APIs
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, testing, and craftsmanship.
• Own projects, drive progress, and contribute to technical decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in enterprise or production settings.
• 3+ years working with Python.
• Experience building service-oriented and event-driven architectures using Domain-Driven Design for RESTful microservices.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines with tools like CircleCI, Octopus.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SageMaker Endpoints, EKS, RDS.
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Data Science or Machine Learning.
• Experience with C# and .Net Core.
• Knowledge of Javascript.
• Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, Artifactory, Mend.io.
