Job Description

This role partners with our Platform Engineer and broader engineering team to support Wellmark’s Marketing technology platform, which utilizes SaaS products for capabilities like Content Management, Digital Asset Management, Customer Journey Personalization, Analytics, and Workflow Management.

As a (Senior) Software Engineer, you will ensure the platform meets business needs and standards, handling infrastructure development, automation, environment strategy, platform reliability, CI/CD, security, monitoring, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, especially Edge Delivery Services.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Partnering with global staffing vendors.
• Proficiency in Node.js and server-side JavaScript.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Ember.js.
• Understanding web performance optimization.
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git).

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, plus at least 1 year of software development experience (Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, SQL), OR 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to gather information, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships and adjusting communication styles.
• Mentoring ability, positive attitude, and calmness under pressure.
• Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments with strong organizational and time management skills.
